SCHout Diversity Conference

On Saturday, February 12th, three 8th graders and Sydney Lewis attended the 7th annual SCHout Diversity Conference at Springside Chestnut Hill School.  In the morning participants listened to a keynote address by Sterling Grimes, and participated in “Who’s In the Room”, an activity designed by Rosetta Lee intended to allow participants to share aspects of their identity with others.  The afternoon featured workshops on DEIJB related topics and ended with a closing address and open mic session.
